67 year old joins TV3's Xpose fashion programme

The TV3 flagship entertainment show Xpose will boost a more colourful line-up next month when 67 year old Kathleen Leahy joins the show. Mrs Leahy of Co Westmeath, will be a host on the show for a month as part of an active retirement initiative.
Glamourous in an all purple ensemble, she told of her delight at her new TV career yesterday. She said "I retired las year. I've never been in this business before. I was in the catering business. This is all new. I'm absolutely thrilled anyone wants to talk to me. This whole new life of television and what's behind the scenes is amazing."
Mrs Leahy said she was not nervous about fluffing her lines when she takes the reins in September. She said "At my age if you make a mistake and it does n't work out, it's no big deal".
