Course Outline
QQI Work Experience is an 8 day module which is available for those with the relevant RPL (Recognised Prior Learning).
Day 1and 2: The Organisation
Day 3 and 4: Policies and Procedures
Day 5 and 6: Understanding Health and Safety
Day 7 and 8: Review Personal Performance

Each day consists of 2 online session with the trainer – 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm. You must attend all sessions.

Course Cost
€195. Secure a place with a deposit of €50 payable online
Learning Outcomes
Learners will examine their potential to obtain employment through the development of a series of documents required for a work setting to include:
- A letter of application
- CV
- Skills audit
- An action plan to ensure employability.
The learner will complete a period of work placement where their competency in a range of skills will be examined. This will include their interaction with others, while working in line with current legislation and regulations, and promoting a safe environment.
The learner will then complete a reflection on the experience gained and areas for improvement identified as well as potential areas for transfer and progression to other areas or specialist roles.
